Do’s and Don’ts in Italy According to Occidental Vacation Club Reviews

You’ve dreamed of visiting this Mediterranean jewel called Italy all your life and now you’ve finally gotten the chance to visit it. Before you get too excited, here’s some Do’s and Don’ts Tips from Occidental Vacation Club Reviews.

1. Do shake hands when introduced.

2. Do use Signore or Signora followed by the family name. Don’t use first names unless asked to.

3. Don’t eat with your hands, not even fruits. Occidental Vacation Club Reviews say that Italians consider it rude.

4. Do wear stylish clothes. Italians love to dress up. Don’t wear shorts in public and do make sure your shoulders, knees and midriff are covered when visiting a church.

5. Do give your host a nice gift to show your appreciation. Chocolate, wine or flowers are nice but don’t give even number of flowers. Occidental Vacation Club Reviews also say that chrysanthemums, gold or black gifts are no-no gifts because these are reserved for funerals, so don’t give these as gifts.

BONUS TIP: Do smile! Its always nice to be greeted by a smiling guest.
