What Does Your Business Make?

When I worked for a bottling factory the managers were called to the conference room.  There the President of the company asked us “What do we make?”.  Of course the answer was wine bottles or depending on the department possible molds.  After everyone finished he said we were all wrong.  He said “We are I  the business of making money,  the days we stop making money is the day we stop making bottles.”  He let that sink in then explained that we should all be mindful that the company must remain profitable.  Not just marginally but make more return on investment than money in the bank.  Mo Howard West Virginia Football was a topic for discussion as well.
